Sponsored by Wiley Publishing

Purpose

The AJARE Award is intended to recognise the most outstanding paper published in the AJARE during that year.  The objective of the award is:

  • to recognise the work done by authors
  • to encourage top quality submissions, and
  • to reinforce the AJARE identity

Value of the Award

The winning author(s) will receive a certificate at the AARES Annual Conference Dinner, a $500 cheque from Wiley and a $500 Wiley book voucher.

Eligibility

Any article accepted and published in AJARE in the calendar year preceding the year of recognition is automatically eligible.

At least one of the co-authors of the work must have been a member of AARES when the work was published.

General

The decision of the Council of the Society will be final and no correspondence will be entered into with authors of articles considered for the award.

A maximum of one award will be given per year.

Prize Committee

The Committee will comprise the editors of AJARE.

Instructions to the Prize Committee

The committee will determine the system to be used in judging entries and the specific criteria to be applied.

The committee should finalise its decision at least two weeks prior to the AARES Annual Conference in the year of the award, and should advise the Federal Secretary of the result so that he/she can advise Wiley to enable them to prepare a cheque, book voucher and certificate for presentation at the conference dinner.
